Centres for Disability
Located in the heart of the Old Part of Donostia, Elizaran is a social resource centre specialised for elderly people, both autonomous and dependent, and for people with mental disabilities or diverse functional needs. It is a community centre, plural and multifunctional, where the main objective is to achieve the best quality of life for these people and their families.
The living units are small units in which accommodation is offered to people with mental disabilities, dependent and in need of care in activities of daily living.
In addition, there are two cohabitation units, each with four single rooms and one double room. Each unit has all the necessary services, which allows it to offer more personalised care and establish an environment that is more adapted to the needs of each person.
The aim is to maintain the cognitive, functional and psychosocial level and to promote an autonomous lifestyle integrated into community life.
