After a failed attempt, since the weather was not with us, we organize again a solidarity market with Emaus Social Foundation.
From Matia Fundazioa, we are working intensively on a model of care focused on the people who come to our centers, adapting the entire organization to them, to their preferences and needs, to their families and friends to integrate them into our daily life. Our aim is that they can live "as if they were at home".
In order to make our centers truly "the home" of the people who live in them, we need neighbors, friends, family members, volunteers and citizens in general to help us make them their own, to personalize them, so that the centers become places full of life. In this line we have proposed the organization of a flea market in collaboration with Emaus Fundación Social.
Initiatives such as this flea market allow people in our centers to buy objects to decorate their rooms and give them a personal touch, thus encouraging their participation in daily life activities and promoting their autonomy.
As an organization it helps us to establish collaboration agreements with third sector entities that promote social participation and facilitates interaction with our environment.
